How to report incorrect data
Email corrections@hantavirusoutbreaktracker.com with the page URL, the record or claim at issue, the official source URL, the publication date, and a concise explanation. Official public-health sources control verified status; this site does not promote media-reported or user-submitted information to verified status without official support.
Accepted corrections that change visible data are recorded in the changelog with the source, prior value, new value, and reason. If a correction cannot be validated, the relevant page should remain unchanged or receive a visible uncertainty note rather than silently changing the data.
